Registration for the 2017-2018 school year is open. Our classes will be held at the Adrian Church of Christ located at 719 West Maumee St., Adrian, MI. For assistance, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org .
Registrations must be sent in by August 25, 2017 or there will be a late fee of $50. If the required number of students per class is not met, those classes will be cancelled. Any cancelled classes will be decided by August 28. Please double check the schedule before sending in your registration as some class times have changed.
Once all registration information papers are filled out and sent in with the registration fee, classes will be held for your child/children. Invoices are sent out by email quarterly (two weeks before they are due) and payments are due on the following dates:
September 11 October 23 January 15 March 5
Class costs: Elementary classes are $200 per class for the year ~ $50 per billing quarter. Middle school and high school classes are $240 per class for the year ~ $60 per billing quarter. Study halls are $1.50 per class hour. In addition some classes have a lab/copy fee, payable at the beginning of each semester- September, and January. This year we will offer Drama and Newspaper/Yearbook for only a small lab fee, no other costs apply. Class rates are kept low to help you further your child's education. Class rates are comparably lower than other live or online classes or private tutoring. In comparison to online classes, REACH classes are about half the cost. When filling out the registration form, please indicate the classes and study halls that are needed for each hour.
The Class Supply List page has a list of all books and supplies that must be purchased for each class, please note the ISBN and publication edition, year and or author.
Classes must have a minimum and a maximum number of students that can enroll. Please register early as some classes fill up quickly. If the minimum of students is not met, a class may be cancelled. A waiting list will be kept in case of changes or if additional classes are offered. Please check the class schedule page or email firstname.lastname@example.org before sending in registration.
Some high school classes have prerequisites, these are set to help your child. Please contact the teacher if you need more information. Grade levels for classes are set as a guideline. Please use your discretion when determining if your child would be capable of doing the work for the class.
REACH is not a school, but a tutorial, where homeschooled students are under the supervision of a tutor (ie. the REACH teachers and study hall supervisors). The REACH staff is expected to be responsible for ALL children on the premises during REACH hours. The study hall room is supervised. If the student is in study hall, the fee is $1.50 per hour per student. Indicate on your registration form which hours your student(s) will need a study hall. For those occasions when children need to attend a study hall and are not on the roster, those fees ($1.50/hour) will be added to the next bill you receive from REACH. An additional invoice will be sent out as needed on or about May 1.
Students need to be picked up (or leave the property, if they have driven themselves) within 10 minutes after their last class or they will be asked to sit in the study hall. No one is allowed to wander the building or grounds during class hours unless they are with an adult, remind your children that they are to wait in the foyer until they are picked up.
Please print and fill out a registration form and a medical release form. The registration fee is a one-time yearly non-refundable fee of $75 per family. Desired classes will not be held until the registration fee is paid.
